Constructing new flagship headquarters, complete with museum and art gallery, the Central Bank of Malaysia was looking for a show-stopping focal point, befitting of their stunning new home. Not only did they need a statement piece to intrigue and excite, they had a remit to inform and engage visitors. They saw the opportunities presented by eye-catching shape of the PufferSphere to tell the global story of Islamic finance in a new and exciting way.
We helped the Central Bank achieve their ambition to wow by installing the PufferSphere in the heart of the space. A customised tablet control system gave visitors the ability to explore the world of Islamic finance through an intuitive interface.
Users could interact with the content by swiping their fingers across a scrollable map, and were able to touch hotspots around the world. This triggered show-stopping, full sphere video, which focused on specific regions and their financial practices.
We provided the Central Bank of Malaysia with the capability to review, update and add new stories and areas of interest to the sphere. This provided a flexible solution that keeps pace with dynamic global markets. Through this powerful user-driven experience, visitors can fully grasp the role that Bank Negara Malaysia plays in influencing global economics.
