What the experience needed to do
The university wanted a display that could engage different audiences while giving researchers and students room to develop their own experiences.
What we brought together
- A spherical display with interchangeable screens for the Jim Piper – Discover, Create, Innovate centre.
- PufferBuild, OurClimate and PufferWeather to support content creation and exploration.
- A platform that researchers and students in the School of Computing could develop further.
From platform to purpose
The sphere has become a central display in the centre, serving audiences across ages and backgrounds. Its value extends beyond presenting ready-made content: it also creates a canvas for the university's own work.
“providing engaging, interactive displays for audiences across all ages and backgrounds.”
